At the time where all rap crews in the Middle-East were putting out records in English and French, Rayess_Bek decided to flip the script and rap in Arabic. Rayess_Bek adapted rap music to his background and created his own style and sound.

Rayess_Bek is one of two rappers of AKS'SER that set the path for the arab rap movement in the middle-east since they emerged in 1996. AKS’SER had their first debut on the 'Fete de la Musique' concert in summer 1997 in Beirut where they performed rap music in Arabic - a move got them critical respect.

In 2003, Rayess_Bek released his first album '3am behkeh bil sokout’ as independent artist and went on tour in the Middle-East and Europe.

In 2005, Rayess_Bek released his second E.P 'Moudeer lil saha' and in addition to starting producing for other artists he also appeared on multiple mixes, compilations and soundtracks throughout Europe.

Rayess_Bek’s music combines rap with Ragga, and oriental beats and melodies.
